Welcome to the official site of the Sheringham players.
The Sheringham Players are an amateur dramatic group who mainly perform in the North
Norfolk area. Their home base is primarily Sheringham's little theatre but they have, and
do still, take their skills elsewhere in the area. They have been entertaining audiences
for over Forty years now. The first being Blithe Spirit in June 1964. And they have
continued to muster up between 2-4 shows a year since then. The group still boasts some of
the original members from all those years ago who are still going strong! But don't be
mislead this group is by no means stale. They, like all the other "new comers"
are still as dynamic as ever. All our members and we have at present in excess of fifty,
love the theatre and all it brings. From the joy and buzz of the lead role to the more
mundane, but still as enjoyable set building. We have several different members skilled in
any thing from people management to costume procurers, and we constantly enjoy a vibrant
and busy social life for members in-between shows to keep every one in touch.
Our membership is an incredibly modest £2.00 membership fee paid annually. Preferably at
